What is a giclée print?

A giclée print is usually created using a professional 8-color to 12-color ink-jet printers and rivals the traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes. All giclée are not alike. A talented and skilled Printmaster is needed to produced a fine art print that is vibrant and rich in color and detail. All inks used in the process are archival making the print resistant to fading for up to 100 years.  Giclée prints are commonly found in museums and  art and photographic galleries. We have done much research and testing to find a printer that meets our high standards. You can be confident your fine art print is of the best quality from the initial image capture to print output and will stand the test of time providing generations of viewing  enjoyment and discussion.

Are other sizes available for your prints?

Many prints may be printed in other sizes. Please send us an email with your request.

Who prints your images & how long will they last?

All images are professionally printed by companies that have high tech state of the art printers. Much research has been done and is ongoing to find the right printer for the right job. All prints are archival and handled properly will last many generations.

How long does it take to get a fine art print?

Most images are custom printed per your order. Once professionally lab printed, I receive the image for inspection and signature. At this time, the print  is shipped to you in the fastest, safest manner available. Receipt by buyer generally takes around 10 days.  If you need a print quicker, please contact me for faster shipping, however, an additional shipping charges will apply.

How do you ship?

Images are shipped either by US Mail, Fedex or UPS. If you have a preference please let us know. Most images shipped to size 14 x 21 are shipped flat, ready to be framed and hung. Larger images are shipped rolled.

What digital format are commercial photos in?
Unless otherwise specified, images purchased for commercial purposes are  in JPG format.

Do you offer refunds?

We want you to be happy with your purchase so we  offers a 7 day return policy on all Fine Art Prints. If you are dissatisfied please contact us for a Return Authorization. Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned print your money will be refunded, less shipping charges. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

There is also a 7 day warranty on a downloaded or emailed digital image. If there is a problem with a purchased a digital image,  please contact us immediately. The image will be replaced and every effort will be made to correct any problems with the file.  Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.

Are there any restrictions on my use of the Susan McAnany Photography photos that I download?
Yes. While Susan McAnany Photography offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the duplication, redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. Fine art prints may not be scanned and printed or used in any electronic format without expressed premission of Susan M. McAnany

I subscribed, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have subscribed or  made a purchase and  not received email notification please contact us immediately.
